The Farmers Bank Promotes Drew Cripe to Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking

The Farmers Bank has announced the promotion of Drew Cripe to Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking, recognizing his leadership, long-standing commitment to customers, and impact on the bank’s commercial lending strategy.

In his new role, Cripe joins the bank’s Senior Management Team, overseeing commercial banking operations, expanding leadership responsibilities, and helping guide strategic decisions that support both client success and community growth.

Cripe has been with The Farmers Bank since 2011 and previously led the Agriculture Division, where he partnered with farmers and agri-businesses to deliver custom lending solutions and operational support. Over his 14-year tenure, he has built strong customer relationships and mentored emerging talent within the bank.

“I am most proud to have mentored new lenders and to have built long-standing customer relationships that continue to thrive,” said Cripe.

Known for his hands-on leadership style, Cripe has worked directly with business owners across the region, helping them navigate their financial journeys with confidence and care. His work in commercial lending, combined with his agricultural expertise, has made him a trusted resource within the bank and the broader business community.

“Drew has demonstrated outstanding commitment to our core principles and to those we aim to serve as one of Indiana’s oldest banks,” said Brad Cunningham, Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer.
“His promotion is an investment in our future,” added Chris Cook, President and CEO of The Farmers Bank. “His perspective and leadership will be instrumental as we continue to innovate, grow, and serve our customers.”

Cripe is a Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management. He lives in Sheridan, Indiana, with his wife and three children.
