For more than 15 years, META has been proud to support the schools, nonprofits, and organizations that strengthen the places we live and work. Previously operating as the Data Center Community Action Grant program, META is now excited to serve our communities through the Future is for Everyone Fund — and to welcome Lebanon to this nationwide community of change makers.
The Future is for Everyone Fund — Meta’s $1 billion commitment to invest directly in the U.S. communities that are home to a Meta data center — will open for applications on September 14. We invite you to apply, or to help us spread the word to others striving to make a difference in our community.
What we fund. Grant requests are organized around four focus areas that reflect local priorities:
-
Community Enhancement — the people and shared spaces that help a community thrive: parks, trails, and gathering places; the technology and access that keep neighbors connected; and first responders like police officers, firefighters, and paramedics.
-
Economic Vitality — the people and organizations that power local economies — helping workers gain the skills, certifications, and hands-on experience the modern economy rewards, and backing initiatives that create jobs and give a community its character.
-
Education — programs, spaces, and tools that help learners of every age discover what they’re capable of, from early literacy and the arts to hands-on science and technology — plus resources for the educators who make it happen.
-
Sustainability — the long-term health of the land, water, and wildlife that make our communities home, including habitat restoration and resource conservation that connects people to the natural world.
How to apply. The open call runs from September 14 through October 19. Select the application link for the data center nearest you to complete and submit your request through ChangeX. Before you begin, please confirm your organization’s eligibility and review the terms and conditions. We’ll review requests after the call closes and announce awardees early in the new year.
