Looking for a fun and effective way to connect with fellow professionals? Hosting an Off the Clock Networking event is a great way to engage with fellow Chamber members in a relaxed, after-hours setting. These events are designed to foster meaningful connections in a casual, social atmosphere—perfect for unwinding after the workday.

As a host, you’ll enjoy valuable exposure for your business. It’s a chance to showcase your space, products, or services to a group of 25–50 local professionals—all while supporting the community and having a great time. Best of all, attendance is free for guests, making it easy to draw a crowd.

Off the Clock events take place on the fourth Thursday of each month from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. To host, your business must be enrolled at the Basic membership level or higher.

• Opportunity to showcase your business facility to guests. Tours can be provided.

Eligibility & Requirements

Off the Clock hosts must be Members of the Boone County Chamber of Commerce in good standing. Hosts may find co-sponsors to help defray event costs, with the understood requirement that co-sponsors are also Chamber members. Location of the Off the Clock event must be held within Boone County.

Off the Clock hosts agree to:

• Host an event on the agreed upon date between the hours of 4:30 and 6pm.
• Provide appetizers, beer/wine, non-alcoholic drinks and/or water.
  • If providing alcohol, all beverages must be served by a licensed bartender.
  • All food must come from an approved vendor (a list of caterers will be provided). No homemade/home cooked foods can be served.
• Provide enough comfortable space for up to 75 guests either indoors or outdoors.
  • Outdoor space must be covered in case of rain.
• Ensure Chamber & any co-hosts have necessary space to promote themselves at your event.
• Door Prizes and/or Incentives (i.e. discounts, gift cards, etc.) are encouraged but not required
• Submit event information (parking info, catering, door prizes, anything else that makes your event unique) to the Chamber at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.
