ZIONSVILLE, IN — Have you ever wondered what fascinating stories might be hiding in your family tree? SullivanMunce Cultural Center invites genealogy enthusiasts of all experience levels to an evening of discovery at its Genealogy Lock-In on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Held at the SullivanMunce Genealogy Library, the event offers a special opportunity for participants to spend an evening exploring their family histories, uncovering new connections, and sharing their passion for genealogy with fellow researchers.
Whether you’re just beginning to trace your roots or have been researching your ancestors for years, the Genealogy Lock-In provides a welcoming environment to focus on your family history research while taking advantage of the library’s extensive resources.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops or reserve a library computer. As an added bonus, all printing fees will be waived during the event, making it easier to take home copies of valuable discoveries.
The SullivanMunce Genealogy Library houses thousands of genealogy and local history resources and is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library, providing access to additional family history research materials.
“Family history research is like putting together a puzzle, and you never know when you’ll discover that missing piece,” said Cynthia Young, Executive Director of SullivanMunce Cultural Center. “We hope this evening gives people the opportunity to explore their family stories, make new discoveries, and connect with others who share their interests.”
