The SullivanMunce Cultural Center is a dynamic hub for art, history, and genealogy in Zionsville and Boone County. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to preserving local heritage, fostering creativity, and enriching the community through diverse programs and events.
Our mission is to inspire curiosity and connection by offering a unique blend of experiences under one roof:
• Art Center: We host rotating exhibitions featuring regional and Indiana artists, offer year-round art classes and workshops for all ages, and provide creative opportunities such as summer camps and community art projects.
• Museum: Our museum collects, preserves, and interprets Zionsville and Boone County’s history through engaging exhibits, historic walking tours, and programs like the Third Grade History Experience, which brings local history to life for over 600 students each year.
• Genealogy Library: We maintain a robust genealogy library and research resources, helping individuals trace their family roots and discover the stories of Boone County’s past.
The SullivanMunce Cultural Center is also home to signature community events like the Zionsville Paint Out, Gardens of Zionsville Tour, GhostWalk, and Victorian Tea—events that bring together residents, visitors, and artists to celebrate creativity and tradition. Our Century Structure Program and historical marker initiatives honor and highlight the architectural and cultural history of our town.
Through exhibitions, educational programs, public art, and historical preservation efforts, we serve as Zionsville’s “keeper of history” while cultivating a vibrant arts community. We are committed to creating inclusive and meaningful experiences for artists, families, researchers, and visitors.
Located just steps from Zionsville’s historic Main Street, SullivanMunce Cultural Center is a gathering place where past and present meet, offering something for everyone who values art, history, and culture.
