Background
As the Boone County Chamber of Commerce has grown and the needs of the organization have evolved, the choice to migrate to a new position has become increasingly clear. In the past, marketing and social media services have been primarily managed in house. Now, we are evolving that role within our staff to focus more directly on events and member engagement. This opens the need for a contract relationship with a reliable marketing provider that can regularly work alongside our team to ensure members have regular and consistent communications throughout our omnichannel approach, as well as providing strategic direction for major events and promotion as such.

Scope of Work

The ideal candidate/organization will provide the following services:

• Social Media Management: regular and consistent focus on various Chamber initiatives, events, and member recognition
• Chamber Newsletter / Email Marketing: weekly member email and dedicated emails for specific and targeted communication
• Graphic Design Support: occasional graphic design support focused on Chamber-branded visuals
• Collaboration with the Staff: work alongside the Chamber staff to properly brand and communicate ongoing initiatives and needs
• Other projects related to marketing and communications as assigned by the Executive Director of the Chamber

Selection Criteria
Organizations wishing to be considered will be examined based on capabilities, pricing, and overall willingness to work alongside the Chamber proactively and collaboratively.

Submission Process
The Boone County Chamber of Commerce will accept submissions by proposal electronically. Electronic submissions should be submitted to Sean Reaves, Executive Director, at sean@boonechamber.org. Submissions are open from October 1 – October 18, 2024. The chosen organization will be notified no later than October 31, 2024.
