The Zionsville Fire Department (ZFD) is inviting the community to gather around the griddle for a delicious local tradition—the 40th annual Pancake Day is happening on Saturday, October 4, from 6:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Station 291, 100 N. Ford Road in Zionsville.
Originally revived last year after a brief pause, Pancake Day has once again become a fall highlight for the department and the wider Zionsville community. This all-ages event marks the beginning of Fire Prevention Month and provides a great opportunity for families and neighbors to enjoy breakfast while connecting with the ZFD team in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Guests will enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, and a full toppings bar. Kids will have the chance to meet Sparky the Fire Dog, climb aboard fire trucks, and interact with firefighters up close—making it a memorable experience for the whole family.
“Our firefighters love welcoming the community into the firehouse,” said Captain Brian Miller. “This event is especially rewarding as it brings joy to young children dreaming of becoming firefighters and to adults who never had the chance to live that dream”.
Admission:
-
$10 for adults
-
$5 for kids up to 12
-
Free for children 2 and under
Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, bringing the kids for a close-up look at the fire trucks, or simply enjoying a morning with neighbors, Pancake Day is a celebration of community, tradition, and fire safety.
