2027 Emerging Leaders Application

Applications for the 2027 Emerging Leaders cohort must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on December 16, 2026.

The Emerging Leaders program is designed for professionals who are ready to grow their leadership capacity, expand their network, and deepen their impact within their organization and the Boone County community. Through interactive learning, meaningful discussions, and valuable relationship-building opportunities, participants gain practical tools and insights they can apply immediately in their leadership journey.

Because the program is intentionally designed to create a high-quality and engaging cohort experience, space is limited. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of Chamber volunteers, community leaders, and Chamber staff. Participants will be selected based on their demonstrated leadership potential, commitment to professional growth, and desire to actively engage in the program.

Program Commitment

Attendance at all six half-day sessions is strongly encouraged and expected.
Participants should be prepared to actively engage in discussions, activities, and cohort learning experiences.

2027 Dates: February 10, April 14, June 9, August 11, October 13, and December 8

Time: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Cost: $900 (member) / $1100 (non-member). Early Bird through November 30th

$1200 (member) / $1500 (non-member)

The Emerging Leaders Program is offered in partnership with Insight Leadership Group and led by their experienced team of leadership development professionals.

Insight Leadership Group provides best in class organizational, leader, manager and team development through facilitation, executive coaching and leadership training.

Financial Commitment & Scholarships

The tuition is per participant. Community and alumni support makes it possible to offer limited financial assistance to those in need, removing barriers to participation and encouraging greater diversity and inclusion for individuals of all abilities. Tuition assistance requests are considered only after the class selection process is complete and will in no way impact consideration of your Emerging Leaders application.
