While Zionsville is famous for its shopping, visitors to the town also enjoy walking or driving through the quaint Victorian-style village.  Wonderful chocolate is another distinctive feature of Boone County.  Local, state, national, and international visitors have enjoyed the fine confections of Boone County's three local chocolatiers.  Donaldson's Finer Chocolates in Lebanon and Ganache Chocolatier in Zionsville offer tours and pure enjoyment for the chocolate lover.  David Alan Chocolatier located in Lebanon is known for its sweet confections.

Boone County also has several museums and historic buildings that are open for tours.  Zionsville offers the P.H. Sullivan Munce Cultural Center and the Munce Art Center, and Thorntown has the Thorntown Heritage Museum and the Sugar Creek Art Center.  While in Lebanon, visitors can tour the recently restored historic Cragun House at 404 W. Main Street. 

Lebanon also features historic Boone County Courthouse, which has the largest one-piece limestone columns in the United States and the second largest glass dome in Indiana.  The Courthouse's eight columns are each 35 feet tall and weigh 30 tons.

Boone County is the host for many annual festivals.  In the spring, Zionsville has a Country Market, while in the summer, both Lebanon and Zionsville have weekly Farmers Markets.  In the summer, Boone County offers several Fourth of July festivals in addition to the Traders' Point Hunt Charity Horse Show.  In the fall, Zionsville hosts its popular Fall Festival and the Village Tour of Homes. 

Lebanon has a Back to the Fifties Festival, and Thorntown offers the Festival of the Turning Leaves.  In the winter, Zionsville hosts Christmas in the Village, a popular spirited weekend of shopping and entertainment.  Boone County has festivals and events for everyone, whatever their interests.
